Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is seeking a dedicated ABA Service Provider to support children and families on Long Island. Therapists will work across homes, clinics, and community settings, providing evaluations and ongoing ABA services while collaborating with supervisors and staff.

The role requires NYS certifications/licenses from the list provided and a passion for child and family welfare.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children and families.
• NYS licensure or certification as described in Requirements.
• Ability to educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies.
• Comfort working across homes, community, and clinic settings.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children birth–21 years in various settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies for carry-over into daily life.
• Work in client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow the established therapy plan and monitor progress toward goals.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated and maintain records with confidentiality.

Long Island Location:

Positions are available throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Come and join a team of passionate therapists providing excellent pediatric therapy. We specialize in conducting evaluations and providing ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings. Achieve Beyond is centered around a culture of collaboration and support, to ensure our services are of the highest quality and adhere to our strong ethical standards. We currently offer ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, and Physical therapy as well as Special Education/SEIT services. We serve children and families in the metro New York area (all 5 boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island and Albany), Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth – 21 years in a natural setting.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.

Requirements:

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• One of the following NYS certifications/licenses:
  o Students with Disabilities (Birth – 2) Initial or Professional Certification
  o Permanent Special Education Certificate
  o TSHH Permanent Certificate
  o TSLD Initial or Professional Certification
  o NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Compensation Hourly $52-$58.
