Job summary

GulfSouth Autism Center in Metairie is seeking a dedicated Full-Time ABA Pediatric Behavior Technician to support children on the autism spectrum. You will gain hands-on experience in ABA and work within a customer-focused, energetic team to apply transformative behavioral strategies.

Compensation ranges from $16.25 to $18.00 per hour, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 30 hours per week.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work effectively in a loud environment.
• Passion for working with children with disabilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for tracking client progress.
• Background check clearance.
• Physical capability and resilience to support client sessions.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to implement behavior intervention plans crafted by a supervisor.
• Teach essential new skills such as communication and social interaction.
• Provide one-on-one support tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Collect and track data on client progress to ensure effective treatment.
• Advise the multidisciplinary team on client progress.
