Job summary

The Arc of the Ozarks is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to support clients across homes, community settings, and Arc locations in Monett, Missouri. In-person services emphasize communication and daily living skills, with supervision from BCBA staff and ongoing credential support.

You will work part-time, 1:00-5:00 pm on Monett-based days, with travel within the surrounding area. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement exist within this mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• RBT certification required; sponsorship may be considered.
• Ability to provide in-person services in Monett and surrounding locations.
• Reliable transportation for work-related travel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and behavior-support procedures.
• Ability to collect and document data accurately.
• Calm, professional demeanor during high-intensity situations.
• Commitment to ethical, person-centered support and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct ABA services to clients in various settings.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Help individuals increase independence and community participation.
• Collect accurate data during sessions and maintain records.
• Communicate progress and updates with the clinical team and families.
• Follow all treatment plans, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support with supervision, team meetings, and professional development.
