Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Complex Behavior to provide direct ABA-based services to children and adolescents up to age 21, under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on reducing high-intensity behaviors and increasing adaptive skills with structured protocols.

The position requires a high school diploma and RBT certification within 90 days, plus strong communication and data collection abilities.

Qualifications

Ability to provide, assess, interpret, and communicate client-specific data in response to treatment protocols.
Strong organizational and time management skills along with ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and the ability to communicate well in person, in writing, and on the phone.

Responsibilities

Provides direct client care utilizing applied behavior analysis protocols under the supervision of a BCBA or BCBA-D.
Protocols are specialized and focus on reduction of client's complex behavior and increasing adaptive skills.
Protocols are implemented under close clinical oversight.
Communicates case-related activities with supervisors using written and verbal communication.
Accurately collects data of patient complex behavior during direct observations.
