Job summary

KidsTLC in Olathe, KS is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for full-time hours. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with an additional $3.00 per hour weekend differential for hours Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at 10:00 PM.

Schedule includes 10-hour shifts on a rotating basis Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, under supervision of a BCBA. Prior RBT credential is welcomed, but candidates may be hired without it and obtain it after hire; a pay increase is offered once

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 21+ with valid driver's license.
• Current RBT credential or willingness to obtain after hire.
• Ability to work with youth who may experience emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to children on Autism/IDD unit.
• Learn and implement each child’s treatment plan under BCBA supervision.
• Use ABA-based strategies and instructional techniques.
• Help children develop behavioral, communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collect data and track client progress.
• Maintain a safe, structured, nurturing environment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate professionally with parents, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Participate in regular program training and team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
