Job summary

HACKENSACK BOARD OF EDUCATION is seeking an ABA Preschool Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on general education with inclusion and uses Creative Curriculum to guide learning.

The candidate will plan and implement standards-based lessons, differentiate instruction, and employ a variety of instructional strategies. Collaboration with families and staff is essential. Commitment to feedback and a strong PLC presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Certification in NJ Preschool through Grade 3 is required.
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis and diverse student populations.
• Ability to collaborate with families and staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with colleagues.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications: NJ Preschool through Grade 3 certification

• Demonstrated the ability to collaborate
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and writing
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues
• Multilingual a plus

Working Conditions: ECDC begining Dec 6, 2025

Salary: Per the HEA/HBOE Agreement

Selection Procedure: Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted followed by recommendations made to theActingSuperintendent for Board approval.
