ABA Parent Training Consultant - Fullerton & Surrounding Area

TRAINING & JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Teach parents about the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Receive paid ongoing training to teach parents and support them in implementing learned strategies
- Target client’s goals across skill areas, including: communication, social skills, play, self-care skills, and community safety skills.
- Work on client’s goals and parent goals in the natural environment, including home and community
- Record data on parent's skills and performance during each parent training session
- Analyze this data to determine parent/caregiver progress
- Receive direction from the BCBA Supervisor to modify how goals are addressed based on the data
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with your Supervisor to address questions and concerns
- Communicate and engage with the client's family in a kind, supportive and professional manner.
- Analyze data, monitor parent's progress, and write progress reports
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish. Fluency in reading, speaking, and writing in Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree
- US work authorization
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Behavior Technician
- Experience with parent training is not required. This training is provided.
- Applicants with experience in parent training and supervision will be paid at a higher rate.
- Applicants who are BACB certified will be paid at a higher rate.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Automobile insurance
- Availability of at least 15 hours per week
- Schedule flexibility to conduct sessions at the times most needed by our client's families. This is primarily Monday-Friday between 2:00-7:30 pm. Some families also ask for Saturdays between 9:00 am-1:00 pm, so Saturday hours are available, but not required. Morning and mid-day hours may be available.

Compensation range
$30.00 to $42.00 hourly, depending on experience (higher rate if you are a BCBA)
