Job summary

LBAPS is seeking compassionate ABA paraprofessionals to provide 1:1 therapy to children in school, home, and community settings. You will follow individualized treatment plans and support development in communication, social, behavior, and daily living skills.

We offer flexible schedules, including daytime school hours and after-school home-based work, with opportunities for growth and supervision from experienced BCBAs. RBT certification support is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Spanish-speaking is a plus; required for certain cases.
• Experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• RBT certification preferred (training may be provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, patient, and able to follow structured plans.
• Ability to work independently while receiving supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children based on individualized treatment plans.
• Support skill development in communication, socialization, behavior regulation, and daily living skills.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Assist with classroom routines or home-based programming, depending on placement.
• Collect and record accurate data on client progress using RethinkBH.
• Maintain professionalism when communicating with families, supervisors, and team members.
