Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field is required.
• 4–7 years of ABA or related clinical experience is required.
• BCBA certification is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and other medical professionals.
• Utilization review and/or case management experience is preferred.
• Understanding of ABA principles and medical record organization is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews of Behavioral Health services focusing on ABA.
• Evaluate age-appropriate testing and assessment tools to determine ABA therapy appropriateness.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all review types per contract requirements.
• Monitor daily workload and review queues to meet departmental demands.
• Collaborate with Supervisor on quality monitoring and process improvements.
• Maintain current knowledge of review protocols, clinical practices, and guidelines.
• Readiness to serve as first-line reviewer for ABA prior authorization requests.
