Job description

Location: St. Louis County (South/Crestwood/Sunset Hills)

Setting: In-home and school-based

Schedule: Full-time or part-time, sessions are 4 hours and scheduled between the hours of Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm (subject to change based on learner needs)

Pay: $18-$23/hour

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care. You’ll work one-on-one with our patient's families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a school setting

  • Collect and record data on child behaviors

  • Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst

  • Attend team meetings

What You'll Need

  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for practicum students or candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

  • Obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 60 days of hire

  • Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Must have an active CPR Certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

  • Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
