Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Tobyhanna, PA is seeking a Behavior Technician to travel as needed and support a BCBA-led treatment program. The role requires supervision, monthly observations, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to implement data-driven strategies.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma, 40 hours of RBT training, and experience with children displaying maladaptive behaviors; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with full-time day/evening shifts and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
• At least 40 hours of RBT training required.
• Experience with children who demonstrate maladaptive behaviors preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Travel as required.
• Receive supervision from a BCBA for at least 1 hour per week if you work 37.5 hours or more weekly; or bi-weekly if you work less than 37.5 hours.
• Receive a 1-hour observation at least once per month.
• Collaborate with the treatment team.
• Prompt appropriate behavior and implement antecedent, behavioral, and consequence procedures.
• Administer discrete trial training.
• Pivotal response training to increase verbal expressions.
• Model appropriate interventions for the treatment team/teachers.
• Assist with IOA data collection.
• Complete data collection.
