As an ABA Behavior Technician with Compass ABA, you will provide one-on-one instruction in homes or community settings across New Jersey, New York, and New Mexico. Your role will involve helping children with autism develop crucial communication, social interaction, play, and daily living skills. Responsibilities of Your Mission - The Behavior Technician Role
  • Implement direct one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to manage challenging behaviors and enhance clients' social and communication skills and independence.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and family to implement behavior intervention plans.
  • Collect and record data on client progress, utilizing information to adjust treatment plans.
  • Maintain professionalism and a commitment to providing high-quality services.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Your Required Navigation Tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to client homes or designated locations.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
