Job summary

ABA Dynamic is seeking a Home-Based Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes across New York City and surrounding areas. You will work closely with families to create supportive, joyful learning environments tailored to each child.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, enjoy working in personal settings, and are passionate about making a localized impact in the community through direct home-based intervention and collaborative parent coaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 ABA interventions in the client’s home, focusing on communication, social skills, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with families to implement behavior strategies during daily routines.
• Identify and utilize natural opportunities within the home to teach new skills.
• Follow the BIP and skill acquisition goals written by the BCBA.
• Log session notes and data via a mobile device immediately after each home visit.
• Maintain safety and adhere to trauma-informed safety protocols.

You will provide high-quality, 1-on-1 ABA therapy directly in the client's residence, working closely with families to create a supportive and joyful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Home-Based Therapy: Deliver 1-on-1 ABA interventions in the client’s home, focusing on communication, social skills, and daily living tasks (e.g., dressing, eating, hygiene).
• Parent Collaboration: Act as a professional bridge between the BCBA and the family, helping parents understand and implement strategies during daily routines.
• Environment Adaptation: Identify and utilize natural opportunities within the home (playroom, kitchen, backyard) to teach and generalize new skills.
• Clinical Integrity: Follow the specific behavior intervention plan (BIP) and skill acquisition goals precisely as written by the BCBA.
• Remote Reporting: Accurately log session notes and data via a mobile device immediately following each home visit.
• Safety & Ethics: Maintain a safe environment for the client and yourself, adhering to all trauma-informed safety protocols.
