Job summary

Finni Health of Central Michigan is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home, one-on-one sessions in Alma, Michigan. The role offers both full-time and part-time options, with morning to early afternoon hours and pay ranging from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour.

You will support children in learning life skills through play, guided by a BCBA mentor, with a focus on communication, social skills, and independence in daily routines.

Qualifications

• Completed 40‑hour RBT training.
• Willing to sit for the RBT exam with employer mentorship.
• High school diploma and at least 1 year of experience with children, especially those with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Being a Play Partner: use a child’s favorite toys or games to help them learn to communicate and socialize.
• Building Independence: help a child master daily routines that matter to the family.
• Cheering Progress: track progress and celebrate milestones together.
• Learning Together: you’ll have a BCBA mentor alongside you.

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time options available

Hours: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and/or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour

The Heart of the Role

We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind getting down on the floor to play, getting messy with arts and crafts, and celebrating "small wins" like they’re Olympic gold medals. You’ll work one-on-one with a child in the comfort of their own home, helping them learn life skills through the power of play.

• The Spirit: You’re reliable, have your own transportation, and are comfortable being active (sitting, kneeling, and playing on the floor).
