Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. (AZACS) is hiring a Behavior Technician for the Tucson Campus to support students with autism across K-3 and 6-12 programs during the 26/27 school year.

The role involves implementing ABA strategies, assisting with instructional programs, and collaborating with teachers to meet IEP goals. A strong ABA foundation and classroom experience are preferred, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of classroom experience.
• Understanding of autism behavioral characteristics.
• Strong ABA foundation preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication with parents and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional programs and behavior management.
• Support academic instruction and behavior plans within the classroom team.
• Implement ABA-based strategies as directed by supervisors.
• Mentor paraprofessionals and train on best practices.
• Maintain consistent attendance and professional conduct.
• Assist students with routines, transitions, and self-care tasks.
