Learning Arts Corporation in Stockton, CA is seeking a part-time ABA Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You will deliver ABA therapy to help children with ASD develop social skills and confidence.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage children for 20 minutes sessions; RBT certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
• Proficiency in computers and writing
• Ability to actively engage with kids for 20 minutes at a time
• Availability for at least 12 hours per week (afternoons and evenings)
• Ability to work part-time for 3-4 hour shifts at least 3 days a week
• Ability to travel up to 25 miles for in-home service positions
• Proof of Immunization (MMR and Varicella). Training to obtain records provided
• Reliable transportation
• Military service is a plus
• Physical ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, twist, and lift 50 lbs.
• RBT certification or the ability to obtain it within 60 days; training provided and fee reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Travel to the clinic or the client's home for therapy sessions
• Implement ABA therapy techniques and interventions per the behavior intervention plan
• Conduct engaging one-on-one therapy for skill and social development
• Set up an engaging therapy environment with necessary materials
• Attend team meetings to track progress and discuss treatment plans
• Use data collection tools to measure outcomes
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust treatment plans
• Provide support and guidance to the client’s family
• Document session notes and complete required paperwork
• Ensure a clean and organized therapy environment
