Learning ARTS in Salinas, CA is seeking a part-time ABA Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism through ABA therapy. You will work one-on-one in home or clinic settings, using evidence-based techniques to build social skills and independence while monitoring progress with data.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, are willing to obtain RBT certification within 60 days, and enjoy flexible scheduling in the afternoons and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills are essential.
• Proficiency in computers and writing.
• Ability to actively engage with kids for 20 minutes at a time.
• Availability for at least 12 hours per week (afternoons and evenings).
• Part-time availability for 3–4 hour shifts, at least 3 days a week.
• Ability to travel up to 25 miles for in-home services.
• Immunization records (MMR/Varicella) with employer assistance to obtain.
• Reliable transportation and US work authorization.
• Military service is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, twist, and lift 50 lbs.
• RBT certification or eligibility within 60 days; training provided; potential raise.

Responsibilities

• Travel to the clinic or the client's home for therapy sessions.
• Implement ABA therapy techniques and interventions per the behavior plan.
• Conduct engaging one-on-one therapy for skill and social development.
• Set up an environment with therapy materials.
• Attend team meetings to track progress and discuss treatment plans.
• Use data collection tools to measure outcomes.
• Collaborate with BCBA to adjust treatment plans.
• Provide support and guidance to the client’s family.
• Document session notes and complete required paperwork.
