Adapt A Behavioral Collective Inc. is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) / RBT to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home and community settings in the East Bay Area.

The role includes training, supervision, and opportunities to advance toward RBT certification and senior positions. Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent, or higher, with relevant experience; must be willing to obtain RBT certification and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or in progress, or relevant experience with children or developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification, if not already certified.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to travel between client locations within the service area.
• Ability to meet background, health, and clearance requirements (fingerprinting, TB testing, immunizations).
• Access to a smartphone, computer, and reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, community, and approved settings.
• Implement treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA or clinical supervisor.
• Help clients develop communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based teaching and reinforcement strategies.
• Collect and document behavioral and skill acquisition data.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and clinical team.
• Collaborate with families to support consistent treatment.
• Maintain professional, ethical, client-centered standards in every interaction.
• Participate in training, supervision, and ongoing professional development.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized, one-on-one ABA therapy in home, community, and other approved settings
• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA or qualified clinical supervisor
• Help clients develop communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
• Use evidence-based teaching and reinforcement strategies
• Collect and accurately document behavioral and skill-acquisition data
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and other members of the clinical team
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to support consistent treatment
• Maintain professional, ethical, and client-centered standards during every interaction
• Participate in training, supervision, and ongoing professional development

Schedule and Availability

• Approximately 15-30 hours per week
• Opportunities to increase hours as additional cases become available
• Client sessions typically take place between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
• Morning availability is limited
• Services are primarily provided in person
• Limited telehealth opportunities may become available after the 90-day introductory period

Because services are based on client availability, candidates with consistent afternoon and early-evening availability may have access to more scheduling opportunities.

Compensation

• BT I: $22-23 per hour
• BT II/RBT: $24-28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress, or relevant experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification, if not already certified
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and proof of applicable insurance
• Ability to travel between client locations within the assigned service area
• Ability to meet applicable background, health, and clearance requirements, including fingerprinting, TB testing, and required immunization documentation
• Access to a smartphone, computer, and reliable internet connection
