Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician in Modesto, CA to work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays. Sessions occur in-home or in-clinic, typically 2–3 hours, with a flexible schedule from 2pm to 8pm.

Salary ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, based on experience and training. You must complete a 40-hour RBT training; certification within 6 months is required for continued employment. We offer paid training and support for certification.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly Preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or ABA paraprofessional training certificates.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
