Lighthouse Autism Center in Portage, IN is seeking a college graduate to join as an ABA Behavior Technician. This role supports children 18 months through school age with personalized ABA therapy in a center-based setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver One-on-One ABA Therapy: work with children 18 months to school age.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan therapies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver One-on-One ABA Therapy: Work with children ranging from 18 months to school age, using your expertise to provide personalized therapy.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Develop and implement customized therapy plans with the support of our skilled team.
• Apply Creativity in Therapy: Use advanced techniques in our play-based and naturalistic therapy environment.
• Guide Children's Progress: Help children succeed in educational and social settings, preparing them for successful transitions.
• Document and Track Development: Contribute to each child's therapy program by meticulously documenting their progress.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• Physical requirements: Lifting or carrying more than 50 lbs., ability to run, crouch, squat, kneel for sustained periods, bend at the waist, sit on the floor or chair for long periods, move quickly from standing to seated or kneeling position without support, and communicate expressively both verbally and written.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
• Important Note: Safety is a priority at Lighthouse. You will undergo a background check and drug test at the time of hire.

Salary

$20 - $22 per hour.
