Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking qualified Behavior Therapists to join our team in Ventura, CA. You will support clinical supervisors, develop interventions, and train families in positive ABA strategies to improve child outcomes.

The role involves data collection, IOA, intake involvement, and direct therapy sessions for children aged 2-18 with developmental disabilities. A Master's or current pursuit of BCBA is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Master's program or have Master’s Degree in related field.
• 2-3 years experience working as a Behavior Therapist.
• 2-3 years experience working with children age 2-18 with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Develop interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills.
• Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in positive supports and ABA interventions.
• Assist with developing goals in communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help and recreational skills.
• Assist in intake, observations, and initial behavior assessments.
• Shadow Behavior Therapists and provide feedback on performance.
• Conduct IOA to ensure data accuracy and coach therapists to reduce discrepancies.
• Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.
