BHCC seeks a full-time tenure-track Chair and Program Director for its Paralegal Studies AS Degree and Paralegal Certificate Program. The role includes teaching, program oversight, maintaining ABA accreditation, student recruitment, and advising while supporting growth across the two programs.

Responsibilities also include participating in advisory board activities, coordinating with Career Services for internships and placement, and ensuring compliance with MCCCMTA provisions.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in good standing.
• Experience with diverse adult learners assessing learning outcomes and using technology.

Responsabilités

• Provides academic leadership and administrative oversight for Paralegal faculty and students.
• Advises students and leads recruitment and outreach efforts to increase enrollment and strengthen the Programs.
• Teaches using varied outcomes-based methods that promote critical thinking and integrate technology.
• Manages ABA accreditation supports curriculum development and engages in professional development.
• Participates in advisory board activities and supports internships and career placement efforts in coordination with Career Services.
• Complies with duties as stipulated in MCCCMTA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
