Job Description

We are looking to onboard an accomplished “Workday Integrations Lead, Solution Architect – HCM, Payroll and Financials” to join our client in USA. This is a 100% remote job and the candidate will become an integral part of our client’s IT PMO.

As a Solution Architect, the ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements across all aspects of Workday integration projects.

Skill / Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Workday Technical & Functional experience.
  • Full cycle Workday Implementations including Payroll, Time Tracking Third Party Integration.
  • Experience working with global organizations.
  • Experienced in integrating Workday with non-HR systems such as Active Directory, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics.
Job Responsibilities

Working closely with client teams right from the project initiation phase, running discovery sessions to understand current state processes, integration landscape.

Running design workshops to discuss detailed requirements and articulating best possible Workday solution to meet business requirements.

Responsible for the solution design for both functional modules as well as technical streams.

Functional Stream:

Understand current HR Processes and setting up BPs in Workday to align with business operations by covering areas such as Recruiting, Onboarding, Job Change, Performance Reviews, Termination.

Explaining Local vs Global configuration to clients and getting them configured in Workday.

Leading the team of Workday Functional Consultants in getting solution delivery, guiding them on solution aspects.

Designing the Absence and Compensation Plans in Workday keeping in mind its integration with Payroll system.

Technical Stream:

Leading the technical design of the Workday to payroll integration, pay slips integration and time off balance integration.

Working closely with Business Teams, Payroll Vendor and Workday technical consultants in design workshops, establishing field mappings, value mapping, PECI and PICOF connector configuration, defining integration attributes, external payroll earnings mapping, studio design.

Identifying the web services and setting up EIBs for data uploads into Workday.

Defining payroll testing approach, parallel testing methodology.

Setting up security roles, and security groups to suit business requirements.

Leading reporting stream in setting up various reports (Advanced, BIRT and Dashboards).

Working closely with program director in defining Project plan, Testing approach, Resource planning, Tenant strategy, Change Management, Cut over strategy.

Data Migration:

Work closely with Data Stream in defining data migration requirements and transformation rules for Payroll Data covering Basic Salary, Allowances, Benefit elections, Deductions, Service history, Tax Data.

Defining the data extraction, transformation rules for Absence data covering Absence Balances, Leave without Pay History, in flight leave transactions. SSIS and stored procedures were used here.

Defining data extraction and transformation rules for Superannuation covering Employer & Employee Contribution, Defined Benefit & Accumulation Fund Super, UPPL, SG Quarterly Cap.
