Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and dynamic QA Lead to join our IT development team in India. This is a fulltime/direct hire position.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a hands-on Test Lead and own all technical testing activities and services.
2. Lead all Product Testing activities (Test planning, Design, Execution, Defect Management) for different Streams in parallel.
3. Coordinate with Business Technical stakeholders to run SIT/UAT for different streams.
4. Prepare Test Plans, Schedules & Strategies.
5. Act as a test subject matter expert for technical solution and functional areas within the application and associated projects.
6. Develop or assist in developing strategic/tactical testing deliverables such as Test Strategies & Plans across multiple lines of business.
7. Perform requirements analysis and quality risk analysis.
8. Perform high-level and detailed test estimates.
9. Accountable for monitoring and reporting test progress & status to Client’s project management & executive stakeholders.
10. Manage the development of test plan, scenarios and traceability (unit testing, system testing, integration testing, performance testing, load testing, UAT).
11. Lead and coach manual/automated testing analysis and design.
12. Manage the identification and preparation test data during the course of the project.
13. Monitor and manage completion of assigned testing scope and deliverables.
14. Ensure all quality processes are followed.
15. Facilitate and run defect triage meetings for multiple initiatives.
16. Communicate progress of testing activities to the Test Manager or directly to client stakeholders.
17. Produce internal and client facing status reports, as required.
18. Perform additional system testing-related activities, as required.
19. Participate in and facilitate lessons learned reviews.
20. Collaborate with client team to collect, create, present, maintain, and store knowledge assets.
21. Maintain solid understanding of software, product testing best practices, methodologies and terminology.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Higher, in Computer Science or a Related Field.
2. One or more of the Industry recognized testing certification(s) – (Ex: ISTQB).
3. Minimum 8+ years working in Software Testing (Manual and Automated), Quality Assurance.
4. Minimum 5+ years leading product testing team.
5. Minimum 4+ years working with multiple Test Management Tools (like HP ALM, JIRA TestRail, Qase etc.).
6. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
7. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
8. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
9. Have excellent time management, task planning and prioritization skills.
10. Able to adapt quickly to changing client requirements.
11. Ability to present Test Plans, Strategies, Test cases/execution results to Client stakeholders.
12. Strong interpersonal skills – written and oral with a positive attitude.
13. Flexibility, self-motivated and has the ability to give and receive feedback.
