About the job

We are looking for an IT Content Writer to join our team and enrich our social media channels (primarily LinkedIn) and website with new blog posts, articles, guides, presentations, agreements, and marketing collateral.

Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types, and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.

Requirements

1. Write clear marketing content on social media to promote our IT products/services.
2. Create and follow a content calendar to produce impactful content every day, throughout the month, as per a plan.
3. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
4. Submit work to Core Team for input and approval.
5. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles in infographic formats.
6. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
7. Promote content on social media channels, primarily LinkedIn.
8. Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
9. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
10. Update website content as needed.
11. Demonstrated experience of lead generation, follower count organizational improvement, etc. by providing powerful content (expected to show samples while interviewing).

Eligibility and Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5+ years of work experience as an IT Content Writer or similar role.
2. Maintains a portfolio of published articles.
3. Experience doing research using multiple sources.
4. Familiarity with web publications.
5. Expertise in writing tailored content for different IT Services and Solutions as needed (technical and functional).
6. Expertise in writing tailored content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels.
7. Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
8. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., Wix, WordPress).
9. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
10. BE/BTech in IT/CS or related degree.
11. Digital Marketing Skills is a plus.
