We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the alignment and consolidation of national personal lines insurance carrier relationships across Alera Group.

  • Strengthen strategic partnerships with key insurers to improve product offerings, underwriting efficiencies, and profitability.

  • Create a unified carrier engagement strategy that aligns with Alera’s national growth objectives.

  • Design and implement a national Mid-Market Personal Insurance Practice, standardizing operations, client segmentation, and service delivery models.

  • Collaborate with regional SBU leaders to deploy consistent and scalable service solutions to mid-market clients.

  • Compile and define Alera Group’s national High Net Worth (HNW) Personal Insurance Practice, curating best-in-class service experiences from various Alera offices.

  • Develop a clear segmentation strategy, product suite, and marketing plan to position Alera as a national leader in the HNW space.

  • Unify and empower a national HNW sales team, focused on growth through internal referrals, centers of influence, and new client acquisition.

  • Implement training, sales enablement tools, and performance management strategies to drive results and accountability.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of personal lines insurance leadership experience, including direct responsibility for mid-market and high-net-worth (HNW) segments.

  • Strong understanding of national carrier partnerships, underwriting models, and market trends.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling practices or divisions within a national or multi-regional insurance brokerage.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience leading change and driving innovation in matrixed organizations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or industry designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, CPRIA) preferred
