Job summary

Cook Medical Supply is seeking a highly motivated full-time Speech Device Consultant to market AAC devices across Central Mississippi, traveling to schools, clinics, hospitals, and care facilities.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and are passionate about helping special needs children. Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills are essential; valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; SLP/Assistive Technology background preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to present ideas to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel regularly across Central Mississippi and work on a schedule with referral sources.
• Familiarity with AAC devices and reimbursement guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily in-person work with special needs children and care teams.
• Maintain attendance and comply with company policies and patient protocols.
• Develop knowledge of products and insurance coverage for reimbursement.
• Grow revenue and meet service goals across Central Mississippi.
• Maintain rapport with referral sources, clinics, and partners.
• Schedule and arrange device delivery in a timely manner; promote products to sources.
