Software Architect

Position Overview:

Nationwide is seeking an experienced professional to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Responsible for project completion. Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.

Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD, National, Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA)/Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), BICSI, and OSHA safety standards. General knowledge of operating principles of wired, wireless, and RF environments.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• Must possess (Formerly IT-II) Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 investigation (T3) at the time of proposal submission.

Preferred Skills:

• IAT Level II or 8140.03 equivalent certification(s)
• 5+ years supporting DLA
• Experience using DLA Enterprise DevSecOps for IaaS
• Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD
• Experience using GitHub for configuration change management
