Job description

The AAA Roadside Assistance team in Oklahoma City is hiring a Battery Truck Driver!

We offer our Associates:

• A competitive base rate of $18.95/hour; paid bi-weekly
• 10% shift differential for 2nd shift (adds over $1.75/hour)
• Plenty of overtime during peak season

Do you have what it takes?

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for your state
• Ability to pass a bi-annual physical exam as required by DOT and company policy
• At least 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment or related technical or customer service roles
• Satisfactory pre- and post-employment screening results
• Complete departmental training within 60 days of hire
• Ability to perform diagnostic tests, recommend solutions, and install batteries
• Effective communication skills, including use of email and GPS
• Operate passenger vehicles and light-medium trucks (manual and automatic)
• Lift/carry up to 75 pounds, perform tire changes, inspections, and vehicle pushes

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide mobile battery services, perform diagnostic tests, and sell/install batteries
• Stay updated on battery options and sales techniques
• Mentor junior technicians as needed
• Assist with lock-out, fuel delivery, jumpstarts, extrications, and tire changes
• Communicate effectively with members and ensure safety
• Enter call info, process payments, and complete reports
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections
• Support AAA promotional events
