Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing in Mobile, AL seeks a Cabin & Cargo Engineer to develop, justify, and engineer solutions for cabin and cargo systems non-conformities within the A320 Family.

You will interface with local production and Airbus Design Offices to deliver timely, right-first-time fixes during final assembly, flight line, and delivery activities. The role requires a BS in a relevant engineering field and 0–3 years of experience, working in cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 0–3 years of progressive aerospace engineering experience.
• Working experience in transnational teams and knowledge of Airbus design principles.

Responsibilities

• Author, validate, and authorize technical solutions for cabin & cargo systems.
• Provide engineering support to shop floor during assembly, cabin furnishing, and flight line.
• Coordinate with design offices and international teams to resolve issues.
