Job summary
Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to oversee maintenance activities from Flight Line to Delivery.
The AME serves as the technical focal point for ALBs, QLBs, NCs, and OSW, supporting the Customer Line Operations and Quality teams while coordinating work orders and delivery readiness. The role requires a Mechanical/Aerospace/Industrial Engineering background, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AMM/drawings, with SAP and Airbus tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; 3 years Airbus experience or 5 years industry experience.
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of aircraft components and functions essential.
- Experience with AMM and drawings beneficial.
- Familiarity with SAP and Airbus IT tools advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain all Work Orders.
- Maintain Aircraft Storage procedures.
- Answer technical questions and review AMM/drawings for mechanical/electrical items.
- Communicate with Customer Line Operational and Quality teams.
- Support delivery from permit to fly to transfer of title.
