Job summary

RTX Cedar Rapids is offering an onsite internship/co-op focused on aerospace and defense. You will work on processor-based requirements capture and verification under mentors, contributing to safe, reliable system design.

You will learn Design Assurance Standards (ARP4754, DO-297) and development tools (JIRA, JAMA, svn), while gaining hands-on experience with processor and verification requirements in a structured internship program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to break down something complex into subparts.
• Experience with capturing requirements and writing test cases for them.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
