Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Flight Line Quality Inspector to verify aircraft system integrity during flight line activities from handover to final delivery.

The role requires five years of aviation experience, an FAA A&P or TCCA AME M2 license, and strong English communication. You will release aircraft for production flight testing and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure airworthiness and conformity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of aviation experience, including flight line exposure.
• Valid FAA A&P or TCCA AME M2 license.
• Experience as mechanic/technician is desirable.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of drawing systems, inspection plans, and inspection coordination.
• Knowledge of production line principles and tools.
• Proficiency with length-measuring inspection tools.
• English proficiency for verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Release aircraft for ground and flight operations, including engine run-ups.
• Evaluate test results and document in the Technical Log Book (TLB).
• Support troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
• Ensure Airworthiness & Conformity with final sign-off as Quality Inspector.
• Logbook entries and Airworthiness Directives status reporting.
• Perform inspections and approve service bulletins.
• MRB approval in non-conformance management system.
• Coordinate with Liaison, FAL/Flight line, Design Office, Programs, and Quality teams.
• Perform ground checks, test procedures, and system verifications.
• Support customer deliveries for flight release compliance.
