Capgemini Engineering seeks a Final Assembly Line/MRB Liaison Engineer to support aircraft programs from Mobile, Alabama. You will investigate MRB non-conformances, evaluate deviations, and prepare engineering dispositions with drawings and standards.

Required are a bachelor’s in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 5+ years MRB/MAP in aviation or 8+ years design experience, and CATIA V5 proficiency. You must relocate to Mobile and be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Five years MRB/MAP experience in commercial/business aircraft or eight years design experience in Aerospace.
  • US citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Willingness to relocate to Mobile, Alabama.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate non-conformances reported by the Quality group.
  • Evaluate manufacturing deviation and its effect within the assembly.
  • Create engineering dispositions, supported by drawings and standards.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Specialists (Stress, Manufacturing, Production, Aerodynamics).
  • Coordinate with production/support groups to fix operational or engineering issues on aircraft.
  • Coordinate with MAP offices (Spain, Mexico, India) to address client requirements.
