Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a travel ophthalmologist for a 7-day assignment in Wisconsin. The provider covers Friday 7 am to the following Friday 7 am, with clinic hours on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The role includes 0–2 patients seen per 24 hours and 0–3 phone consults per 24 hours. Clinical duties include comprehensive ophthalmology procedures with surgical and laser, vitreo-retinal procedures, intra-ocular injections and ultrasound interpretation.

• Comprehensive ophthalmology procedures including surgical and laser.
• Vitreo retinal procedures and intra-ocular injections required.
• Ultrasound interpretation and performance required.
• Hospital privileges required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ophthalmology care during a 7-day shift block from Friday 7 am to following Friday 7 am.
• Manage 0–2 patients per 24 hours and 0–3 phone consults per 24 hours.
• Perform comprehensive ophthalmology procedures including surgical and laser treatments.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and ensure patient safety across the assignment period.
