Job summary
Panasonic Corporation of North America seeks a Sales Engineer to support the sales team with a consultative approach, leading technical engagements from pre-sales through post-sales support. You will understand and communicate the technical benefits of the KAIROS IP live production system, PTZ cameras, studio cameras, and professional audio solutions.
On-site engineering, training, and collaboration with product engineering teams are expected, with travel up to 50% and a focus on delivering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field and 7–10 years in professional video/AV.
- Experience with SMPTE ST 2110 and NDI IP workflows.
- Hands-on design and operation of IT/IP networks and security in AV environments.
- Familiarity with PTZ cameras, auto-tracking, and streaming workflows.
- Proficiency with Windows, macOS and Linux.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical pre-sales visits and read customer requirements for AV systems.
- Create system designs and layouts for KAIROS IP live production systems and related hardware.
- Provide on-site engineering, installation, commissioning, and training.
- Support sales events, product demonstrations, and post-sales support.
- Collaborate with product engineering and service teams; share best practices.
