As a Commercial A/V & Security Lead Installer, you’ll play a critical leadership role in the installation and configuration of integrated technology systems for commercial environments. You will lead job sites, guide technicians, and ensure each project is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on-site installations of commercial A/V systems, CCTV, access control, alarm systems, structured cabling, and networking equipment.
  • Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling to ensure proper connectivity and signal flow.
  • Mount devices such as cameras, speakers, displays, and control panels according to layout plans.
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, field technicians, and management to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.
  • Supervise daily job site operations and provide direction, training, and support to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during installation and ensure all systems are tested and fully operational.
  • Maintain professional, solution-oriented communication with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work adheres to company quality standards, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Complete accurate documentation for project close-outs, inventory, and system configurations.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, trainings, and performance reviews as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

We are currently seeking experienced candidates for this leadership role.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial A/V and security system installation (lead or senior-level experience preferred).
  • Strong background in low-voltage systems and commercial job site protocols.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, organization, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on-site.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Familiarity with commercial construction timelines, site coordination, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

You will be required to obtain and hold a valid DCJS license.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
