Job summary

Spire Integrated Systems Inc. is seeking an entry level AV install role in the Troy, MI area. The position involves working in a team environment on residential and commercial installations, reading instructions and prints, performing heavy labor, and maintaining strong safety and teamwork practices.

Candidate will assist with pre-wiring, cable management, and installing AV equipment while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic field. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: experience pre-wiring residential/commercial properties and identifying audio/video cables.
• Blueprint/instruction reading: ability to read installation instructions, schematics, and technical prints.
• Physical capability to perform heavy labor and move materials in varying weather conditions.
• AV equipment installation experience with TVs, speakers, projectors, and projector screens.
• Strong teamwork and communication for installation projects.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Job Summary

Entry level role working in a team environment performing a variety of tasks related to AV installations in both residential and commercial settings. The position requires the ability to read and understand instructions and prints, perform heavy labor, and work effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pre-wire residential and commercial properties.
• Cut, terminate and identify various audio, video, data cables and wire.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and prints
• Ability to perform heavy labor, such as moving materials
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s license
• Physical stamina to handle strenuous work in hot or cold weather.
• Install TVs, Speakers, Video projectors, projector screens.
• Basic Ins/Outs, Rack wiring and AV signal paths and control signal paths.
• Proficient in Slack navigation. (Pinning items, finding information/ prints, uploading redlines)
