Job summary

Temple Beth El of Boca Raton is seeking an experienced audio/visual technician to operate and troubleshoot live sound, video, and lighting for services and events. Proficiency with mixers, microphones, DAWs, and major editing software is essential, with strong ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required, and an associate degree or trade certificate is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate from a trade school preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with live event audio mixing and sound engineering is required or highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve is required.
• Adobe After Effects and Pro Tools are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Prior experience and proficiency in operating audio, lighting, and video equipment, including live event audio mixing and sound engineering;
• Proficiency with audio mixers, microphones, and digital audio workstations (DAWs);
• Required: Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve;
• Preferred: Adobe After Effects and Pro Tools;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment;
• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and other variable hours depending on the schedule of live services and recordings;
• Ability to operate well in a busy environment, easily tolerates change;
• Ability to think quickly and react/trouble-shoot properly in high stress situations;
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and vendors;
• Attends in-service training, when necessary; and
• Model appropriate conduct and values.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree or certificate from a trade school preferred or equivalent work experience.
