Job summary

Hyundai Motor America in California seeks a bumper-to-bumper master technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any automotive system to dealership and manufacturer's standards without supervision.

Requires 4–7 years of experience; a High School diploma; Hyundai Hybrid experience and engine replacement capabilities preferred. Journeyman technicians encouraged to apply. Smog license a plus; ASE certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and complex diagnostics.
• Ensure work meets Hyundai and dealer standards with minimal supervision.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
