Job summary

Hyundai Motor America seeks a master certified technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile without supervision. In most cases, you will be a shop leader and help develop other technicians, and you may interface with customers as needed.

The position is full-time with opportunities to engage in Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment. High School is required and 4-7 years of experience is typical.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 4-7 years of experience as a technician.
• Master certified technician with automotive systems expertise.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair any automobile system without supervision.
• Lead, mentor and support other technicians in the shop when needed.
• Interface with customers in various capacities as required.

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
