Automation Personnel Services in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Lead Forklift Operator for a fast-paced warehouse. This full-time, temporary-to-hire role pays $21.00 per hour.

Lead operations, train staff, coordinate workflow, operate forklifts and RF scanners, and maintain accurate inventory. Schedule: Sun–Tue 7:00 am–7:00 pm, Wed 7:00 am–1:00 pm. Benefits include weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, holidays, and a referral bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of warehouse/related experience.
• Forklift operating experience required; OSHA forklift certification and RF scanner experience preferred.

LEAD FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Lead Forklift Operator for a company based in Cartersville, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment, supporting wide range of fulfillment, warehousing, and supply chain operations. This position is full-time, temporary to hire.

Pay Rate

$21.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Sunday to Tuesday- 7:00am to 7:00pm & Wednesday- 7:00am to 1:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations by assisting with employee training, workflow coordination, and process compliance.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely to load, unload, move, and store materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory, production, and shipping records using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Inspect equipment, report maintenance needs, and ensure a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Forklift operating experience required; OSHA forklift certification and RF scanner experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, lift up to 25 pounds, and work overtime as needed.
