Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a psychiatric provider for a combined inpatient unit and outpatient clinic assignment in Minnesota. The role features Monday through Friday hours with weekend and evening call, handling up to 18 patients per day.

Flexibility for a locum-to-perm opportunity is available, with housing, travel, and malpractice coverage arranged by the agency. Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion, restraints, and ECT is required.

Qualifications

• Inpatient psychiatric clinical experience in both inpatient unit and outpatient clinic settings
• Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion, and restraints
• ECT familiarity and training

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a combined inpatient psychiatric unit and outpatient clinic setting.
• Manage up to 18 patients per day, ensuring timely assessments and treatments.
• Monday–Friday clinic hours with call coverage on weekends and evenings.
• Support the transition from locum to permanent placement when applicable.
