Job summary
Ameriflight, the nation’s largest Part 135 cargo airline, seeks an A&P Technician to maintain a diverse turboprop fleet in El Paso. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, document work per FAA regulations, and travel for training or field support as needed.
Qualified candidates hold an FAA A&P certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings and have 2+ years of turboprop experience. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits in a fast-paced operation.
Qualifications
- FAA A&P certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings is required.
- Minimum 2+ years’ turboprop maintenance experience in Part 135/121 environments preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on turboprop aircraft in accordance with FAA regs and company policy.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant components and systems.
- Document work per procedures and regulations; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- May travel for training or field repairs and support other bases as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
