Job summary

FEAM Aero in Los Angeles, CA is hiring for a line maintenance technician responsible for on-call and scheduled maintenance on customers' aircraft. You will perform airworthiness releases and ensure safe departures in compliance with FARs and manuals.

The role requires 1–5+ years of relevant experience, an FAA A&P license, and the ability to read and write English. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is required.
• 1–5+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience, including B747/B777.
• Knowledge of aircraft structural fabrication, assembly, and installations.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must read and write English and be able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance on aircraft for various customers.
• Return aircraft to service with airworthiness releases per scope of approval.
• Inspect, service, and maintain aircraft, engines, and components to meet deadlines.
• Troubleshoot systems and disassemble/repair components per approved data.
• Document all work in accordance with FARs and manuals.
• Collaborate with the air carrier's maintenance control center as required.
• Fabricate and repair sheet metal per AMM/SRM drawings and specs.
• Plan, lay out, and install modifications per drawings and FAA regulations.
