Job summary

Dynamic Aviation in Bridgewater, VA is seeking a Sheet Metal Supervisor to lead quality aircraft maintenance and modifications in the sheet metal shop. You will direct technicians, ensure FAA/SAE standards, and drive on-time project delivery.

You will collaborate with shop leads, manage documentation, parts, and training, while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment and delivering high-quality workmanship on challenging aviation projects.

Qualifications

• A&P License is required.
• IA certification preferred if available.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sheet metal quality control and technician performance.
• Lead and develop a high-performing sheet metal team.
• Coordinate with shop leads to meet project schedules and ensure documentation.
• Clearly communicate priorities to leads and technicians.
• Assist with project layout and daily activities in the shop.
• Verify parts ordering and partner with logistics to maintain stock.
• Make key decisions and ensure procedures are followed.
• Ensure OJT training is completed to the required standard.
• Apply FAA and 145 repair station safety standards.
• Occasionally lead multiple sheet metal projects.
