Job summary

Textron Aviation is hiring a full-time aircraft mechanic to leverage prior military aircraft maintenance experience and become a licensed A&P mechanic. The role includes a two-week prep course and paid training to obtain Airframe and Powerplant certifications within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft, and performing turbine engine troubleshooting and run-ups.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Hours of On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).
• Must be able to test for your Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
• Performs turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair and engine run-ups.
