About SkyWest

Looking for the next step in your Aircraft Maintenance career? As a SkyWest A&P Mechanic in SLC, you will be part of a fast-paced environment full of variety that puts your talent to work on our growing fleet of aircraft. You will qualify for a $10,000 bonus with a commitment to work in SLC for at least three years. Those with military A&P experience are also eligible for an additional $7,500 bonus. This opportunity allows you to gain new skills, work on various aircraft, and be part of a dedicated team.

Primary Job Duties
  • Troubleshoot all aircraft systems
  • Make critical safety decisions regarding aircraft
  • Perform all line maintenance functions independently
  • Manage documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork
Minimum Requirements
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Meet FAA and Safety Requirements
  • FAA-issued A&P Certificate
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work night/third shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Preferred: CRJ and EMB experience
  • Familiarity with company and manufacturer manuals
Physical and Other Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs routinely
  • This is a safety-sensitive position under the Department of Transportation
