Wipaire, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic on a Monday–Friday 1st shift in South St. Paul, MN. Candidates with or pursuing A&P certification will help perform inspections and maintenance on seaplanes, ensuring FAA safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Airframe & Power Plant license preferred, but not required.
• Meet FAA regulatory and safety requirements in all aspects of work.
• Lift and move supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Clear English communication, both oral and written.
• Stand, kneel, bend and twist for extended periods in shop/hangar.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment; operate a computer/photocopy.
• Have all required tools within 90 days of starting.
• Comply with Wipaire FOD prevention plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Repair and maintain components per manuals and FAA standards.
• Install flight controls, engines, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Repair structures and structural components of aircraft.
• Diagnose malfunctions using blueprints and manuals.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for maintenance work.
• Document preventive and corrective maintenance accurately.
