Job summary

Everts Air in the United States is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance on company aircraft for safe and reliable flights. You will work under FAR requirements and certifications, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with strict standards.

Responsibilities include heavy checks, troubleshooting, engine and system repairs, and documentation. The role requires ability to interpret manuals, drawings, and engineering publications, with on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Airport Background Check.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required by operational needs.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, Part 121 maintenance requirements, and airworthiness standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and repair specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on company aircraft for safe and reliable flights.
  • Perform heavy checks, service checks, line maintenance, pre-flights, and troubleshooting.
  • Repair or alter aircraft systems including engines, flight controls, fuel, hydraulics, landing gear, and structure.
  • Follow drawings and manuals for modifications; read and interpret publications.
  • Service, adjust, calibrate, and test aircraft systems and engines.
  • Remove/install engines and propellers; inspect parts for wear and defects.
  • Tow, taxi, and run engine as qualified; de-ice, refuel, and launch/recover aircraft.
  • Maintain documentation of repairs per FARs and tag parts.
  • Maintain currency in required training; be available for on-call maintenance.
